Communication problems in office

The article is a personal response of the writer to the article published in Facilitator, where Kris Butler talked about the need for better communication in the workplace, and ways to spread information effectively in the office. In this issue, the writer follows up by discussing some problems that occur in communication, and why they happen. Furhteremore, the writer states communication problems primarily arises due to- information dificit, difference in communication style, gender differences and native languages.

Miscommunication is common at offices due to cultural shock,bias,use of different lingo, and the working culture of the organisation.However, effective communication is necessary at the workplace ensuring the smooth fucntioning of the work and achieving better results.Through this article,one can learn about the various issues to be dealt in an organisation and overcome the shortcomings.Indeed, communication module has helped us to apply and analyse our concepts effectively.
