Yes....medias have proved to be so influential to children that it has caused children do develop stereotypic views and preferences.

ReplyDeleteAs a coin has two sides, media also has its advantages and disadvantages.Although it updates children and others on the latest happenings of the world ,but at the same type it overhypes many issues develping pre conceived notions on certain issues.Whether it is crime stories,being size zero,or politics, media always somehow has a negative influence on the children as it shows only one aspect which benefits them.For example, children develop the notion that all politicians are corrupt which leads to stereotyping.
Hence, parents should supervise on what their children view and at the same time media should also take responsibilty in conveying the right message across people.
